Unknown Militants Attacked Lagos Community, Cart Away Properties
Anonymous Militants numbering over one hundred, attacked a Lagos community leaving a number of residents dead and many others critically wounded. Residents have revealed the gunmen also whisked off their belongings like, Plasma Television, mobile phones, cars, etc.....
Fatoki community in the Egan, Igando vicinity

PUNCH Metro learnt that during the siege,
the gunmen, suspected to be militants,
shot 3 residents and looted stores and
homes inside the community.

A girl, who claimed to have also been
attacked, said she was no longer round while
the robbers struck the first two days.
“i used to be in my room with my circle of relatives on

ransacked my residence and took away my
telephones and different valuables. They took a
massive sum of money I wanted to use for
commercial enterprise. i am bankrupt,” she said.
PUNCH Metro changed into advised that the robbers

and cellular phones.

a hen.
A trader, who requested not to be named, stated
the guys broke into her save and stole fruit
juice and herbs.
“They carried my fridge at the side of

brought for the operation,” she added.
A resident and network leader lamented
that despite the fact that the Wednesday operation
lasted for approximately two hours, the police
didn’t show up until the robbers were
gone.
“And when they got here, they handiest patrolled
the doorway to the community; they didn’t
get to the crisis spot,” he added.
PUNCH Metro accrued that the robbers
after the Wednesday raid, threatened to
go back on Thursday (the day before today) to kidnap
and rape ladies within the community.

community.
The Police Public family members Officer, SP
Dolapo Badmos, showed the attack,
including that two suspects had already been
arrested.
She said, “The command received the
record at the early hours of today

militants attacked the community. The
Igando Divisional Police Officer led
operatives to the scene and upon sighting
the policemen, the militants fled; but two
of them had been arrested. The arrest brought about
the recovery of ammunition.
“for the duration of the assault, two people were shot

at the health center. we have deployed
adequate security employees and equipment
to the location to prevent a recurrence.”
