How To Add Twitter "Follow Us" Button To Your Blog

If you want to secure more and bigger number of followers on twitter, then you must endeavour to make it easier for your blog visitors to like your blog's twitter profile. Its just to add "follow us on twitter button" to your blog.

Twitter itself has already set buttons ready for somebody like you. With this feature, you can choose the template of your choice, and use it on your blog. There are many other alternatives to do this but, this of twitter itself is far more better than any other alternative. You can do this by yourself if you have the knowledge of "linking an external page" to your post, but let's show you Twitter's way as its the best so far.

How To Add Twitter " Like Button" To Your Blog

1: Log in to your blog's twitter account and copy your profile URL. Your profile URL is that link that shows up on the top of your browser address bar, the exact place you enter web addresses. It will be something like "https://www.twitter.com/my_twitter_handle" , now copy it into your clipboard.

2:  The next step is to open this below link as it's the site in which your HTML code will be generated. Just open the page and where to insert the URL in your clipboard will be shown you. This Button " . (You can copy it into your address bar, if you can't click on it)

3:  Here you will now see  where to empty the URL in your clipboard. The place that asks you , " What would you like to embed? " is the right place to insert the URL in your clipboard. You can even fabricate your URL here by replacing my blog's twitter handle "poly_purpose" with your own handle. Thats just the URL you initially copied into your clipboard.

4:  Now select the template "Twitter Buttons". This is the determinant of how the button will look like, when it start showing up on your blog.

5:   In  the next window that will open up, select " follow button " as shown below

6:  Your code will be shown below the template you selected and once you copy it, you're done with the site.

7:  Now return to you blog and paste the code you copied into the HTML of your blog and save it.

Congrats!!! Your button will now start to show up as you set it to be.

NB:  Users who aren't logged in will be asked to log in, while logged in users will easily follow your twitter handle in a window that will show up.
You may not see "follow" option, because you can not follow yourself.

Did this article make sense at all???, Share it with friends and well wishers on your various timelines......
