15/05/1252 Pope Innocent IV Issued The Papal Bull Ad Exstirpanda


          On the 15th day of May in the year 1252,Pope innocent IV who was the then pope issued the "Papal Bull Ad Exstirpanda,which authorises
but also limits,the torture of heretics in the medieval inquisition.
       Pope Innocent IV whose real name was Sinibaldo Fieschi,was born in the year 1195 in Republic of Genoa in the Holy Roman Empire.he issued the papal bull while 57 years old.
